How old were you when you started and where did your idea come from?
I began experimenting in the kitchen with candy recipes 2 years ago after I was in remission from cancer. Candy made me feel happier in the hospital and I wanted to give back. So many people went out of their way to make me feel better when I was sick.
What was the biggest mistake you made and what did you learn from it?
I tried to combine flavors that just couldn't work in a candy bar! Because I experimented so much, I came up with a really special product
What are your future plans for the business?
I want to build a candy empire!
Any advice for other girls starting a business?
School days can feel long but there are a lot of hours after school to work hard on a project you love. But don't forget to take a candy break!
