How old were you when you started and where did your idea come from?
I started my business when I was 8 years old after listening to my mom encourage me to be my own boss when I became an adult and taking an economics class in 3rd grade.
What was the biggest mistake you made and what did you learn from it?
The biggest mistake I’ve made in my business is undercharging for my product. I learned to never undervalue myself or what I provide.
What are your future plans for the business?
I’m currently raising money for a food truck so I can serve more people and travel around with my treats. Eventually, I want to expand with a brick and mortar with several locations across the U.S. and then offer my cookies internationally.
Any advice for other girls starting a business?
Advice I have for girls starting a business is to always believe in yourself no matter how many no’s you get and to be confident in what you’re providing to the public.
